Don Steinbrugge, CFA
Founder & CEO
Don Steinbrugge is the Founder and CEO of Agecroft Partners, a global hedge fund consulting and marketing firm. Hedgeweek and/or HFM have selected Agecroft Partners 13 years in a row as the Hedge Fund Marketing Firm of the Year. He has spoken at over 100 Alternative Investment conferences, been quoted in hundreds of articles relative to the hedge fund industry, has done over 100 interviews on business television and radio and has over 37,500 subscribers to his Hedge Fund Industry Insights Newsletter.
Don is also the Founder of Gaining the Edge that runs the Hedge Fund Educational Webinar Series, Hedge Fund Leadership Conference and Alternative Investment Cap Intro Events. Over 8,500 alternative investment professionals have participated. Most profits from these events have been donated to charities that benefit at risk children, which have total over $3 million donated since 2013.
Before Agecroft, Don was a founding principal of Andor Capital Management where he was a member of the firm’s Operating Committee. When he left Andor, the firm ranked as the 2nd largest hedge fund firm in the world. Before Andor, Don was Head of Institutional Sales for Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (now part of Blackrock). At that time, MLIM ranked as one of the largest investment managers in the world. Previously, Don was Head of Institutional Sales and on the executive committee for NationsBank Investment Management (now Bank of America).
Don is a member of the Board of Directors of the Virginia Home for Boys and Girls Foundation. In addition, he is a former Board of Directors member of the University of Richmond’s Robins School of Business, The Science Museum of Virginia Endowment Fund, The Richmond Ballet (The State Ballet of Virginia), Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens, Help for Children (Hedge Funds Care), Child Savers Foundation, The Hedge Fund Association and the Richmond Sports Backers. He also served over a decade on the Investment Committee for The City of Richmond Retirement System.
Doug Rothschild
President
Douglas R. Rothschild is President of Agecroft Partners where he helps oversee the day to day operations of the firm. Doug’s responsibilities include distribution across the Midwest and southeast US as well as sourcing and researching new potential managers. Doug also helps host Agecroft’s educational webinar series.
He has over 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry including 6 on the executive committee of one of the largest global hedge funds. Doug was also President of a Chicago based asset management firm where he led the growth from $300M to a peak of over $1B in AUM. He has been a presenter at hedge funds at industry conferences as well as the premiere business schools in the U.S.
Doug earned a master’s degree from Arizona State University and a bachelor’s degree from Wheaton College. He also spent 2 years in the NFL with the Chicago Bears and the Cincinnati Bengals.
Andrew Feldman
Managing Director
Andrew Feldman is a Managing Director with Agecroft Partners. He was formerly the Managing Principal of Alta Via Advisors, a third-party marketing boutique acquired by Agecroft in the fall of 2015. Prior to founding Alta Via, Mr. Feldman spent five years as the Head of Investor Relations and Business Development with Corsair Capital Management, a Hedge Fund in NYC.
Mr. Feldman acquired a broad range of financial products expertise during more than 40 years in the financial markets. Previous roles include Co-head of Financial Institutions Capital Markets at Citigroup, Head of Global Markets Americas at Rabobank International, and Head of US Derivative Sales at Chase. He began his career in Mortgage Securities sales and structuring.
Mr. Feldman currently holds Series 7 and Series 63 registrations. He graduated from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Economics and received his MBA in Finance from New York University.
A resident of White Plains, New York, Mr. Feldman is actively involved with the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation and Friends of the IDF.
Cara Fleckenstein
Managing Director
Cara Fleckenstein is a Managing Director based in New York at Agecroft Partners LLC. At Agecroft, Cara works with the team on sourcing and performing due diligence on hedge fund managers running a variety of strategies. She develops relationships with pensions, endowments, foundations, family offices, sovereign wealth funds, consultants, and funds of funds.
Prior to joining Agecroft, Cara worked in business development at a multi-billion dollar event driven hedge fund in New York. Previously, she was part of Bank of America's Capital Introduction team where she performed manager due diligence on hedge funds running a variety of equity, credit, and macro strategies, and developed relationships with institutions and family offices.
Prior to BofA, Cara created investment strategies in currency options for hedge funds, pensions, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, and corporations at Citibank, and began her career as an options market-maker with Société Générale on the exchange floors. Cara earned a B.A. in Economics with a minor in French from Colorado College.
William Clarke
Director
William Clarke is a Director at Agecroft Partners. Based in New York City, he is responsible for cultivating and managing relationships between Agecroft’s hedge fund clients and institutional investors across the U.S. Northeast, NC, SC, and Asia-Pacific. His investor coverage includes pensions, endowments, foundations, family offices, sovereign wealth funds, consultants, and funds of funds.
In addition to his client-facing responsibilities, William plays a key role in Agecroft’s business development initiatives, including manager research and the development of Agecroft’s affiliated capital introduction event, Gaining the Edge - Global Cap Intro.
William joined Agecroft as an Associate in 2015. Earlier in his career at Agecroft, William worked alongside Agecroft’s founder, Don Steinbrugge, to create and scale the Gaining the Edge platform. This includes a 40+ episode investor-driven webinar series, six in-person educational hedge fund conferences with over 600 attendees each, and an annual global virtual cap intro event. To date, Gaining the Edge has engaged more than 8,500 professionals across the alternative investment industry.
William holds the Series 7, 63, and SIE licenses. He earned a B.A. from Middlebury College, where he was a member of the Varsity Squash team.
Corey Kennedy, CAIA
Director
Corey Kennedy is a Director at Agecroft Partners, a globally recognized, award-winning alternative investment consulting and marketing firm. In his role, Corey leads the firm’s strategic growth initiatives, with a focus on capital formation, investor engagement, and global distribution across Canada, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. He works closely with institutional investors, family offices, and intermediaries to connect them with high-quality alternative investment opportunities.
As a key member of Agecroft’s manager selection team, Corey conducts in-depth due diligence and rigorous evaluation of investment managers, contributing directly to the firm’s reputation for identifying top-tier talent in the hedge fund and alternatives space. He also collaborates with the executive team on firm-wide strategy, business development, and operational decision-making.
Corey holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation and is a Level II Candidate in the CFA Program. He earned his BA in Business and Economics, summa cum laude, from Wheaton College, where he was a student-athlete. Prior to Wheaton, he studied accounting and played football at Northern Illinois University.

Jerry Wang

Jerry is the founder of Vision Investment Management (“Vision”) in Hong Kong. He has been in the asset management industry since 1991. In May, 2000, Jerry established Vision to develop a comprehensive Asian alternative investment management company with efficient investment process, stringent risk control and superior risk-adjusted returns. Jerry worked closely with the investment team to continuously enhance every phase along the investment process. As a result, Vision had won multiple awards and was one of the largest Asian alternative investment managers with institutional clients from US, Europe, Middle-East, and Asia. In 2013, Jerry turned Vision into a private family investment office with focuses on alternative investments as well as businesses in Greater China and Southeast Asia regions. Prior to forming Vision, Jerry was an Executive Director at Scudder Kemper Investments, preceded by the engagement as Director at Merrill Lynch Capital Management Group.
Jerry is an approved Responsible Officer by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission for Type 1 (Dealing in Securities), Type 4 (advising on securities) and Type 9 (asset management) regulated activities. Jerry received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Management Science from the McCormick School of Engineering at Northwestern in 1991.
